Friends, LSU fans, please dont listen to the nagging nabobs of negativity. LSU just came off a slug fest on enemy territory right in Tuscolossa, the Mordor of the SEC! They were bound to have a bit of a breather this week. Nothing to worry about in the least. They have a top 3 (maybe the best) defense (in the country).

Also, "points-against" is an important statistics when you lose, it is not incredibly informative when you win by 3 touchdowns the week after a Lord of the Rings battle at the mouth of Mordor.

There's been a lot of gloom and doom in Baton Rouge the last couple of days despite LSU's 10-0 record and #1 ranking. Most fans don't believe they can win a national title as presently constructed and this morning a co-worker said they were "nothing but a Big 12 team".

This is really sad but it's not the first time this sort of thing has happened after the LSU-Alabama game? A good percentage of Alabama fans are degenerate losers. There's nothing that anyone could say about LSU, Southern or the Saints that would make me want to resort to violence.

LSU lost a key player today for violating team rules, after being previously suspended on multiple occasions for the same conduct.

He'll be back in time for the national championship game if LSU makes it that far. Evidently he's serving a 6-game suspension.
