Obviously he's no more qualified to opine on this issue than anyone on this board, but at least he didn't invoke God.

is he any less or more qualified than 70% of nationally televised sports talkers ?

Not directed at jazz but one of the best commentators up here in New England is Scott Zolak. He was a QB for the Pats for no more than a few games before Drew Bledsoe was drafted. The idea that you have to have started in the NFL for 7 years to be qualified to comment on football is the sign of a very bitter mind. Where does this hatred of Tim Tebow come from ? Its kind of weird.

A Heisman and two national titles. Total bust.
Speaking of bust, if Tebow did that at LSU, there would be a statue of him outside their stadium

First, a disclaimer. I am just answering lonewolf's question for myself, nobody else. I also have no intention to debate it. If you disagree with it, that is fine.

Tim Tebow has shown behavior typical of a religious fanatic. I do not like fanatics, political, or religious.

I generally dont dislike religious fanatics until they take a gun out and start shooting innocent people or otherwise seek to take every thing I own and claim it for themselves in the name of their utopia. But I guess we are all different and in so many ways.

I don't care about Tebow, but for those of us in Washington, SoCal, Texas, and maybe other states, this was our biggest shock in years.

The religious fanatic isn't just the person who pulls the trigger, it's also the leader who inspires him.
