Note to self, UTexas QB has C- accuracy, and no poise, no way he is a Heisman candidate. As an old lady from Texas once said, stick a forrk in emm, eeess durn !!

I guess the real question is why the throw in the first place.

Atticus needs to ship his HS's kicker to The Farm post haste. Whatever it takes. Get Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy to provide a bit of "help". Just get him (or her) there quickly.

Yep, upon further analysis, I have to blame the coach who knew the limitations of his quarterback. Considering how much trouble Michigan was having moving the ball on Army's defense, I would have had more faith that the defense could defend a 10-point lead going into the 4th quarter than the quarterback could make a play with his arm. It was an inexplicable decision that should haunt the coach for the rest of his life.

Maybe we're making a little bit too big of a thing out of a ... football game.

It's been my experience as an athlete and a fan that losing feels worse than winning feels good and it stays with you longer. Have you not had any experiences as an athlete that you still think about from time to time and that you wish you could do over?

My career in T&F has been long with many ups and downs, but as long as I tried my best, I was always OK with the outcome.
On the other hand, as a soccer coach, I have lived the realities of your 'truth' underlined above. The wins were good but transitory. The losses were ABYSMAL!
