It seems that we've received apologies all around from the player, coach, the AD and I think one will be forthcoming from my niece who ran the bookstore in Oxford for a few years.

Tomorrow Texas A&M will play its 4th opponent that is currently ranked in the top 5. When you throw in Auburn it makes you wonder if there's any team that could have went undefeated with its schedule.

Mike Leach sounds off on the heathen media after Wazzu lost to Washington for the seventh straight year, calling John Blanchette of the Spokane Spokeman-Review a sanctimonious troll lol

I don't know which was colder but Gameday was at Western Michigan a few years ago when it was pretty cold. Samantha Ponder's teeth were chattering.

And Blanchette (who back in the '80s was a good trackwriter before they changed his beat) responds

Some of my fellow Tigers who see everything through purple-colored glasses flipped out when the latest CFP rankings came out Tuesday night, but after what the Buckeyes did today, I have a hunch that they won't have much to say when the next rankings come out.

I don't agree with penalties for excessive celebration, but that's not excessive celebration ... it's not even a celebration. That's just plain ol' disgraceful disrespect, and certainly fits the definition of "unsportsmanlike conduct", which is what it was called and penalized appropriately.

It's worthy of some post-game punishment by the coach, but revoking his scholarship is too harsh. However, I haven't read anything confirming that his scholarship has been or will be revoked.
