10-29-2019 05:35 PMRests on what? His facts don't support his conclusion, and they definitely don't contradict mine. Notre Dame fired Charlie Weisd 10 years ago and Gerry Faust last coached there over 30 years ago. Based on the Coaches Poll, which team do you think has been the most overrated over the last 10 years? Give me facts, not emotion.

10-29-2019 06:04 PMAlso your personal preference for the coaches poll is just that. I would wager heavily that the AP poll is more often cited by the media in general when talking about college football rankings.

10-29-2019 06:35 PMOf course the media cites its own poll. What else would you expect? The reason I use the Coaches poll is because it's more reflective of the thinking of the Committee. The mainstream football media's primary objective is to create storylines and stir controversy. The Coaches are more concerned with picking the best teams. Go look at the final 2014 regular season polls to see what I'm talking about.
