What do the coaches tell these players during the week....bizarro stuff...
When I played on tour there was a player from another country, not well liked. We were all at a sponsor's cocktail party and he said to a group of us, "Wouldn't it be nice if we played with no fans, so we could really enjoy the course and the competition." One of the group answered him, " ....., if there weren't any f--ing fans, there wouldn't be any f---ing tournament, and you'd be back in f---ing ........, where we all wish you f----ing twere."

Don't think of the hurdles when thinking of this golfer - with apologies to DoubleRBar.

Actually the guy who did the put-down was also not an American and is usually considered one of the greatest golfers of all-time - he is still living.

The guy who was not well-liked was not born in Europe, North America, or Asia. He never competed in the Olympic Games

No, but if possible, he was even a bigger prick than the guy in the story. I have nothing good to say about David Graham.

This weekend there will be five games that matter as far as the playoffs are concerned:

    • Utah favored by 6.5 over Oregon
Oklahoma favored by 9 over Baylor
LSU favored by 7.5 over Georgia
Clemson favored by 28.5 over Virginia
Ohio State favored by 15.5 Wisconsin

LSU lost more ground in the Coaches Poll so I expect Ohio State to remain at #1 when the CFP rankings come out tomorrow. The way I see it, Ohio State, LSU, Clemson and Georgia control their own destinies, but I suspect that the teams that don't control their own destinies, in Salt Lake City, Norman and Waco, will be shaking purple and gold pom-poms and cheering for LSU Saturday afternoon.
