He's contesting one missed test but what about missing the other two? I'm so tired of these excuses.

Then why do so many athletes find the system so restrictive? I think there's something else going on that could make for 'legit' reasons why you 'missed a test'.

Your phrasing suggests there was an error in my post. There was not. My point was that most of the headlines and the initial post refer to missed drug tests. The articles do not support the headlines.

You have touched on the most cherished wealth creating power of journalism: The headline, it serves the vital purpose of properly biasing and distorting the evidence.

As noted before....The AP is now reporting the story...

"Gold-medal sprint contender Christian Coleman’s Olympic prospects might be in jeopardy after three missed drug tests, two people familiar with the case told The Associated Press."

Thanks for showing us that you don't need a headline to do that.

Other than the Bolt comparison the article actually does support the headline...

"Coleman, who was beaten to gold at the World Championships in London two years ago by convicted drug cheat Justin Gatlin, is favourite for gold in Qatar and Tokyo next year." (from the Daily Mail article)

Ya gotta love the Daily Mail! In an article about CC, they can't help but bring up their favorite American punching bag.
