Lisek ties the 'outdoor record' at 6.15,
    and he gets Silver.

Mondo goes 6.20 for Gold. Tries 6.25
    and makes it.

The same improvements by the women would yield 47.35 for Shaunae, (3.3%) 48.02 for Salwa, (2.1%) and I'll let someone else do the rest of the fantasy for Seyni.

That would make for a really good final.

Menís 4x1 - not much to choose between US and GB. US with slightly greater foot speed on paper but donít have a good record of getting the baton round. GB running extremely well, 2nd fastest time at the London DL, Gemili and Zharnel Hughes close to PB form. Extremely close between Canada, China, Japan for the minor medals

Menís SP - Crouser, Walsh, Romani, Haratyk all throwing consistently. Bertemes, Kovacs and Hill all over 22m too, when was the last time that happened?

It would indeed. If 1500 world leader Timothy Cheruiyot improved his best by 3.3% (like Mondo adding 20cm to his best in one shot) he would run 3:21.61. Or Ilya Ivanyuk, who leads the HJ at 2.33, upping his best by 2.1% (like Lisek in this scenario) to 2.38 meters......Where do I get the video game…

The ISTAF meet in Berlin has just announced that all three of them will be vaulting there. Story linked in front page headline section.

He hasn't yet competed at all this year--I'd be surprised to see him coming out of the woodwork now. He's usually quite active.

It's about the likelihood of it happening. I think (of course I do!) my scenario is a little more doable.
