I was glad to see that Craig Engels is entered in the 1500m this Sunday in Birmingham as this will likely be a paced/fast race and his 3:35.32 PR will go down.

hard to predict the time and place of a PR in the 1500.. kind of like lightening striking.

and user4 being right about anything is a little like lightening striking!

I like him because that mullett he wears is some kind of cross between a Scandanavian high jumper and an Alabama garage mechanic!

Typing this from Alabama, I can attest to the comparison.

Assuming he gets in the rabbited peloton, that's a good assumption.

Well, if he doesn’t get a PR, at least we know he’ll be looking good!

Well, as good as one can look with a mullet.

Spoken as one who used to sport one, himself.

Well, despite swirling winds (so the commentators told me), he came quite close to his PR, and acquitted himself quite well. Raced like he wanted it.

The two who beat him have considerably faster PBs than his, and he beat the world indoor champion and record holder. The slow third lap spoiled the time.
    Cheers,
