Willie Banks on strategy that won him IAAF Council seat
    #1
Even if being the American rep to IAAF Congress greased the skids, Willie Banks didn't take it for granted that he would be elected to the powerful IAAF Council. In a phone call from Doha (12:20 p.m. for me, 10:20 p.m. for him), Willie shared how he campaigned for the unpaid gig and expanded on his ideas for the sport:

He also sees a 1-2-3-4 USA sweep in the men's triple jump.

How many of the US athletes went to Florida? Not too many athletes from the same college making the same WC/OG for the same country.
