    The scary thing for me is that the humidity levels are relatively modest by Tokyo standards.

    And this was a pretty favorable day. All in all conditions were about as far to the hospitable end of the spectrum as you could reasonably hope for in Tokyo in August, and it's likely to be hotter or more humid....

    Perhaps not where the credit is due (and I do think it's a very sensible solution myself).

    Tokyo officials are not happy with IOC presenting the move as a done deal and seem prepared to lobby against it.

    i saw a video that the stadium has these giant fans that blow out cold air, not sure though if they are air con units of whether they will blow warm air from the climate in which the air is coming into.

    i don't know though if the fans are for the fans benefit or the athletes as well?
