I think Zheng's competitive record/experience stamps her at the top, but that may change in the second half of the DLs (not I've looked to see how many will contest the wHT).

    1. Zheng
    2. Price
    3-5. Berry/Malyshik/Tavernier
    6-7. Anderson/Fiodorow

Wouldn't THAT be special, if all 3 Amis were Top 8 (all 6 throws)?!
Excellent list. But no way Malyshik makes my top 7 until she proves she can consistently compete well under pressure in Championship Meets!

You obviously didn't look, because there's no HT in the DL :P

other than Doha, the only meet left in the Hammer Challenge is Szombathely on 8/27

I guess there won't be any Wild Card, or are they going to give one to the leader at end of "regular season"?

make the womens hammer 16 lbs. make the mens hammer 32 lbs. Shorten the cable to 24 inches.. before someone gets hurt,

.. now, I know what you are thinking, so dont hide it.. "no one asked you user4"!

current standings in the Hammer Challenge (women)

    ATHLETE COUNTRY EVENTS POINTS
1 Zheng WANG Pr Of China CHN 4 226.34
    2 Anita WŁODARCZYK Poland POL 3 224.37
3 Gwen BERRY United States USA 4 224.26

So if Berry can score well at Szombatheley and take the lead the U.S. could add a fourth hammer thrower (which by mark would be Stewart, but by USATF. place would be Ewen)

Yeah, as soon as I posted that, I thought to myself, what a stupid statement if are no wHTs in this year's DLs! But, being too lazy to look it up, I deserve the egg on my face!

Not just this year; HT is excluded from the DL by definition. It has its own IAAF Challenge, like racewalking and the multis.
