08-08-2019 04:10 AMThat's three comps in a row over 22m by Romani. That's getting into rarified air.
Walsh had a 3-in-a-row sequence leading into Pre this year, but was sub-22 there. Did strong together a 4-in-a-row sequence back in 20.17
Crouser is currently on 6 in a row (and also managed a 6-in-a-row sequence in early 2018).
Kovacs, Haratyk, Bertemes and Hill have not yet managed 3-in-a-row.

08-08-2019 06:07 AMPrep Justin Robinson advanced to the final of the 400 with a 2nd place 45.38 in his semi. Wil London also made the final.
A third prep (in addition to Mu and Robinson) is Morgan Smalls in the women's HJ (imagine she was picked based on that 6-3.25 indoors).

08-08-2019 01:07 PMI hope someone figures out what that was all about. Was Engels ever properly entered? Did he ever intend to run?

08-08-2019 03:00 PMOK. I see that now. It still doesn't explain the mis-information on the Pan-Am website, but it's good to know that his not running in Lima was voluntary and not the result of a clerical/administrative error by someone else.

08-08-2019 08:52 PMI thought that might be the problem. Somewhere in the process, someone may have insisted on using passport names.
