I love Bowie, but SAFP is running faster almost every race than Bowie has ever run in her life. And she's coming off a torn quad. Make no mistake about it, she definitely has an uphill battle.

She got out just fine, but then immediately was a meter down to the field and steadily drifted back. She didn't even look like she was trying. Something very off there.

Congrats to English Gardner...coming all the way back from that nasty knee injury.

What the hell happened to Aleia Hobbs? That is a big disappointment for her.

She didn't get out fine at all to my eyes. She stumbled in the first 10 meters significantly and that threw her all off. She stopped trying at about 70m when she realised it was all over.

I didn't think she "got out fine" at all, although "out" is open to definition. By my way of thinking, within 2-3 steps she was toast

And I didn't like her Powell-like instinct to bail when the going gets rough, although maybe we can excuse her based on age. However, she's a Pro now, so that won't fly and it's a bad habit to start.
You there, on the motorbike! Sell me one of your melons!

Yes. Stood up at the start.

She's had a long season and there is no reason why she should risk injury on a lost cause.

I concur about the poor start.

Daniels' arms are all over the place, across her chest, out to the sides. If I didn't know better I'd think she "learned" to sprint yesterday. So much wasted motion. She wasn't the only one.
