K Williams goes 6.71 wind legal PB in the 1st round. And 6.83 with a +2.3 in the second. Bougard down by 95 points at the moment.

Decathlon champ Jordan Gray is having a great meet! She has had a few PRs and otherwise been close to her PR in every event, she is on track for a hep PR. She is hoping for a top 10 finish and making a Thorpe Cup team. I'm sure top 7 and some prize money would be even better!

Williams could finish with 6705 by throwing 45 meters and running 2:15. She's already PRd in the shot, tied it in the HJ, 0.02 off PR in hurdles, 13 cm below her best ever windy LJ and that 6.83 was so scantily assisted it's barely worth mentioning. Talk about being on a roll.

Javelin and 800 bests are 46.48 and 2:15.31.

    Chari Hawkins (3739) - 6.20 (6.29), 44.00 (44.15), 2:17.00 (2:15.01)
    Annie Kunz (3726) - 6.25 (6.30), 43.00 (43.41), 2:16.00 (2:15.58).
Both Hawkins (6.26) and Kunz (6.34) above what needed for "q". If both will equal their PBs in the last two events then they will get the Q.

Williams leads by 66 with 1 event to go. 66 points is about 4.5 seconds in the 800; Bougard's usually better than Williams by more than that, but this could still go either way.

Bougard needs to run 2:08.10 for a PB and 2:07.43 to score 6736, which would make her #3 on the US all-time list and be the best score by an American in 26 years.

Hawkins needs 2:13.88 to score 6300.

Well it looks like she'll continue to be an amateur for at least the next 6 months, based on this weekend's performance.

Erica B wins with 6600+; how does this rate for a podium chance?
