    Hoppel is undefeated and won't go down without a fight. He's my dark-horse fave here (tho I didn't pick him).

    Harris is a good bet to place. This is one of the better fields of the meet.

    Hoppel didn't handle the pace (or lack thereof) well in his semi. He's better off with a fast opener. Murphy looked superb - so patient, so strong.

    My son tells me Flotrack was comparing Hoppel’s 21 race winning streak to the famous streaks of Edwin Moses, DiMaggio, Gretzky, the Lakers, the Celtics, and others (but left out UCLA’s 88). What doofuses.
