OY! The rain has a positive effect on the 400H (R. Benjamin, D. Muhammad), but obviously a negative effect on the 100/110H. Fortunately the top 3 picks held, but the tiniest slip-up could easily have meant disaster.

Roberts reminds me of Rod Milburn in his ability to "kick" late in the race

I was just thinking the same thing, gh. Roberts has soooo much upside.

I was reminded of this part of the 1979 interview with Renaldo Nehemiah (one of my all-time favorite T&FN interviews)in which he talks about Rod Milburn:

"It was phenomenal how he (Milburn) could start out even and almost at will take control of the race"

    Reminds me of Roberts's race.

Roberts, Holloway, Allen.....awesome to see them battle it out going forward!

The rain had a positive effect on the 400H? Hard to see that ... it would seem to be more accurate to say that the top performers did not suffer any adverse effects.

So glad Holloway made the team. I believe the pressure of being the favorite got to him a bit.

I think he and Roberts will be on the podium at the WC.
