The fiasco with all of those false starts in heat one today was avoidable, because most of the consternational began after a selfish female long jumper asked for clapping just as the hurdles race was about to begin. It went downhill from there, as the starter wound up losing control of the situation.

I wouldn't blame the "selfish" long jumper; whomever was running the LJ pit should simply have coned the runway off.

    I predict Allen will run a 13.3x

If there's still a headwind, no one will break 13.3.

Doubt Allen will be in Doha; what's up with Holloway?

What the heck was GH doing? Whatever that wildly swinging lead arm was doing, it wasn't hurdling!!

I curse Willie Banks every time a jumper asks the crowd to clap...so many times the HJer or PVer will then miss and the horizontal jumper will then foul. Reminds me of a relief pitcher worrying himself to death over a base runner stealing and then giving up a walk off hit because he didn't worry about the batter.
