The battle for third will be more exciting than the battle upfront.

Grace is tough at the finish, but will she go for both the 800 and 1500?

Houlihan and Simpson and Hiltz and Grace all employ a good kick but there is only room for 3. Efraimson's career seems to be stuck in mud but it is easy to forget she's only 22.

1500 and 800 heats both today, 52 minutes apart, 1500 first. 800 also has semis tomorrow, 1500 final Saturday, 800 final Sunday. It's a difficult choice, but also very difficult to double.
    Cheers,

She'd be crazy to do the 800 but if she has an issue in the 1500, like a stumble in the heats, then she can double back. Neither event is easy but she seems to have a better chance at the 1500 podium than the 800 podium. An interesting choice as she is on the podium bubble in both.

I can't help it. Every time a watch an 800 or 1500 I'm reminded of this Michael Scott quote from The Office:

"As I watched Pam's big strong hand coming toward my face I saw my entire life flash before my eyes. And guess what? I have four kids. And I have a hover car and a hover house. And my wife is a runner and it shows."
You there, on the motorbike! Sell me one of your melons!
