If you had knocked me out in 2012, woken me up in 2019, and told me that Donald Trump was President and Boris Johnson was Prime Minister, I would have been like Doc Brown when Marty McFly told him that Ronald Reagan was the President in 1985.

What happens if Parliament and/or the EU get cold feet and reject his no-deal Brexit? Could a new referendum be the result of this fiasco, in which the people will likely end up voting to stay?

The EU has done all the negotiations they plan to do....Johnson wants to get rid of the backstop...but I don't see that happening...a no deal Brexit would be all on the UK....and could happen...

Of course nothing is better for the national character than a healthy skepticism and cynicism of ones leaders. And nothing more dangerous than a population convinced that their leaders are their superiors.
