You may not like the application of the no-chasing rule in this situation, but the rule is quite clear. gh is right in concluding that Blankenship keeps the last spot.

There was also an interview after one disappointing race last year where she said she was about to retire. I wouldn't pay much attention to the stuff she says after races. According to people on Twitter who have some inside knowledge, there's a 99% chance she will be going to Doha.

What she cleared in Bellinzona (1.88) equaled her PR. 1.94 would have been a 6cm improvement--not very likely at all.

I guess the tv commentator got it wrong. He clearly said Amina improved her PB twice from 1.88 to 1.91 and 1.94. That's why i looked her up in the first place cause i had never heard of her.

Smith has a 1.90 this season and a 1.91 PR.

Oops. I somehow missed the 1.91 (from 2016). I still don't see the 1.90 on tila.

IAAF site seems to be capturing results almost better than tila this season (I know it feels like heresy). To see Smith's efforts, click on the results tab here:

    The 1.90 is there

At #6 on the women's 20km Race Walk list Maria Guadalupe González is currently serving a 4 year doping ban so won't be in Doha.

Both are incomplete. For fun i once combined German lists from IAAF, tilastopaja AND DLV and the resulting lists where still incomplete. Which proves that reliable world rankings are an illusion and qualifications based on these rankings are unfair.
