    Thanks olorin.

Who gets the fourth spot over 200m? Bednarek is the only one left from the Des Moines final, but he hasn't competed since July and that 45.34 from the trials would suggest an injury.

If Bednarek declines the spot, think it goes to Rodney Rowe as the highest finishing semifinalist who had the standard.

Rowe was 7th in the final; we've been listing him as the No. 3 team member ever since Des Moines.

Right, then it should bump to Micaiah Harris.

assuming Bednarek (8th in final) isn't healthy enough to go.

Same question for the 800m, it seems none of the women behind the first three in the Des Moines final had the standard.

    Sure, it's KB's to decline.

There was this on his twitter after the final and the pulled hammy:

    Kenny Bednarek

It’s been a long season and I’ve proven that I belong on this stage. I have nothing else to prove this year. I’ll be back stronger than ever after this!!

Are you sure? What if Olivia Baker gets an IAAF invite--she's not that far off the qual standard and should be on the invite list after Wilson's wild card. And she did make the final in Des Moines, which Brown did not. Once again, the USATF procedures are not at all clear on this point.

USATF will not use IAAF invites for any event for which they can fill the 3 spots (or 4, if applicable) with athletes who had the standard as of the end of Trials.
