Does anyone know what happened to this athlete. Hold national record at 6.57 in the 60 meters, and then as far as I know never ran in college.

I don't know what he's doing now but I do believe he attended Wallace State(Alabama) for a short time. That school had some pretty good athletes on the track team. I seem to remember Deworski Odom going there after h.s.

Good stuff. Thanks gh. I'm glad to see he is succeeding at life, and I don't think many people could argue with his perceptions of what he would have had to do to compete at the next level. He had the taent, but as we all know it's usually not about who has the most talent in world class sprinting. Unlike others he took the high road. Good for him.

Casey was teammates (for probably just a few weeks) with another "What Ever Happened To?" favorite, Obea Moore, at Wallace State JC. I remember the coach telling me, "Casey and Obea became fast friends." No pun intended...

You guys know what I meant. Oh, that's right, cheating with PED's isn't a REAL crime.

Point is, the guy pulled his life together.

I agree with guru. Success is finding happiness and fulfillment in life. We should all be so lucky.
