Incredible finish....one of the most exciting games I've ever seen in any sport....tied again but England wins for more boundaries...

Have to feel sorry for NZ....

What is even more galling is the fact that Stokes is a New Zealander.
That was odd..and bad luck for NZ...Stokes was rather apologetic about it...I didn't know that about Stokes....

Yes it should have been number of wickets lost in the Super Over tie...

Or even better play another super over with different players...kind of a unsatisfying finish....

Stokes lived in New Zealand until he was 12. His Dad was a Rugby League coach who moved to Cumbria for work.

He and Alex Hales are sort of the wild men of England cricket....

A big moment in the penultimate over when Boult caught Stokes...but stepped on the boundary....and thus a six instead of the end of the game....

Hmmmm, seems that NZ wuz robbed.

England should have only had five runs on the Stokes bat-hit, not the five they were given.

I don't think so ....they scored 2 than 4 more for the overthrow that hit the boundary...

P.S. looks like you are right....

England were given six runs but Stokes and Adil Rashid had not crossed when the throw was released, so the law appears to say that was one too many.
