What significant 100 has Schippers won in the last few years that would make her a contender over Bowie?

Bowie was inferred a favorite in the 100, along with those others. I like her a lot and have always admired her running, go read my other comments in various other threads about her. My supposed anti-US bias is non-existent next to your pro-US, anti-everyone else bias.

Favorites evolve throughout the year. No one needs to wait for any championships to offer up who they think are the contenders, ok? Last I checked this is a year-round forum to discuss these things, not a post-US trials discussion.

Who said Bowie isn't a contender or has dismissed her? Nobody. But you clearly dismissed Schippers, as you have done for years. The discussion was that Bowie has a better chance in the 200 due to a more stacked 100 event. That's basically it, stop looking for an anti-US conspiracy.

That is why I mentioned Mt. Sac...that "meet" on Randall's Island was a joke.

in theory, at least, one could dream about a DL caliber meet at the new Mt. SAC, which the funding (and necessary organizational staffing) would be provided by the LA 2028 organizing committee.

but probably not until closer to the Games proper.
