The competitors must want a pretty crisp 800.

His count so far is 8 meets in the 100 (after 8 in the 60), with a single 200 thrown in just for good measure.

The women's 200m is a pretty hot field, and it may be the only time we see Bowie v Thompson v Schippers v DAS over 200m this season. The only significant name missing is Miller-Uibo (no offence to Ta Lou or anyone else)

DAS smoked ET & Schippers in Stockholm but 2 weeks later Thompson was a different athlete at her NCs. They are the ones likely to battle it out I think but it will be interesting to see how tired ET is after those nationals. I wont be surprised if she gets beaten by DAS, who went back into training after Stockholm and this will be her first race since. DAS effectively ran the same times in Doha and Stockholm (22.26 with 1.1 and 22.18 with 1.3, which equate to 22.33 and 22.28 on JRM's calculator) so it will be interesting to see if she has improved.

Schippers is now apparently over her injury but just behind in training. I think for her it will be about whether she can get any closer to DAS and ET compared to Stockholm, and that's how she can measure her progress.

I'm not sure Bowie is yet back to her best form but she is the unknown quantity here with no 200s under her belt this season.

This will be Naser's toughest field to date over this distance. I'm predicting another PB for her.

Lane assignments are going to be fun for this one.

Anyone have stats on the most consecutive years of running 10.00 or faster in the 100m?

Rodgers has hit 11 this year (09 - 19). bolt has 10 (08 - 17)), and some guys have more years, but not consecutive (Gay/Powell).

Has Tori Bowie pulled out of pre? Her name isn't listed on the entry list.

So if Bowie is now in the 100 and not the 200, and after her interview online implying she is targeting the 100/LJ in Doha, it looks like she is dropping the 200 this season, which is a shame.
