    Any comp? In HS and college and USATF, don't qualified athletes have the right to compete in championships?

    I think the IAAF had until this upcoming Tuesday to respond to the SFT ruling although whether they'll be a further ruling prior to Pre is not clear to me, at least.

    That's a pretty typical field size in an invitational race. In a pacemakered race the field gets stretched out early, so it's not usually a problem.
