Weather has turned bad. A bit of rain and it looks like negative wind for the 200.

I see the 34.1 is en route to the 47.60, so SMU is not there yet (she was bent over from this effort).

SMU passed 200m at 22.44, which is pretty darned impressive. Under 12s for the last 100.

Last wind LJ wind reading was +1.7 (LJ is in same direction as sprint straight). So the wind has turned around, but the rain has now gotten quite a bit heavier.

Being that Koch's time is an en-route hand "split", I'll take its accuracy with a grain of salt.

Put Naser a lane or two outside of SMU in Doha or Tokyo, I like SMU's chances of breaking 48. At least...

Bednarek looks heavy and plodding. Either he's burned out from his stellar college season or he hasn't got his Euro legs yet. Needs some quality training time. Is this his first time abroad? He might be stunned by the differences between here and there. I've been abroad many times, and I'm ALWAYS stunned by the differences.

That may be too tall an order, considering how late the meet is, and the rounds to be run (not that we haven't had plenty of WRs after rounds!).

They delayed the 200, and the rain has stopped, so they're now good to go. Wet track, but at least no rain.

It's a good thing CC has more time till Doha. He just needs more training.
OTOH, DeG looked on track (pun!).

it wouldn't be on our lists if the original provenance weren't good (well, grain-of-salting all hand times, of course).

It's not as if the 300 in the 400 is a difficult split to take. One of the easier ones.
