    Watching Kendricks clear 5.93 (nice!), I have a technical observation about him that I've noticed before.

    I had a kid once who always looked at the bar and that tended to make him hit the bar. So I told him to throw his head back, so he couldn't even see the bar, and it worked. But then I had another coach (whom I admire) tell me that's a terrible idea, technically speaking.

    But Kendricks does exactly that, he THROWS his head back, even past the line of his torso, and it works for him!
