I believe Suhr went back to the US after receiving death threats and having her poles damaged by a poor setup in Rome and not being 100% healthy.

Semenya is upset Rabat is not letting her in the 800, but DL meet directors have full discretion in who gets in their meets. They are not obligated to take anyone, unless it is the DL finale and the athlete has enough points.
Justin Gatlin got shut out of lots of DL meets.
