Wind was mostly crosswind, gusted at time. Mostly more cross tail than cross head, but there were a few jumps where it blew in their face.

Temperatures were quite pleasant, but the wind made it far from ideal conditions. 5.93 on a clutch third attempt make is quite good.

Yeah that was a huge jump! Standards were off by 5cm. Almost every meet Mondo is taking shots at 6m. Its really good. Looks like he is still figuring out his big poles. When everything lines up I think he will be pretty consistent at 6m.

Good for Lisek! Its night and day for him. When Lisek is running fast he gets so much pop off the pole. Otherwise he has to muscle the pole to get any height. At Stanford he was fast/slow. Looks like he lined it up at Lasuanne.

Also is this the highest 4th jump in pole vault history? Is Lisek also the largest man over 6meters? Maybe the stiffest pole(no pun intended) too?

Okkert Brits was definitely taller but not sure about the weight.

Peter Larsson (pela2 on this board) keeps a record of highest jump off results but jump offs may not be decided on the 4th attempt.

Pun taken! No idea on this one. I'd imagine PolevaultPower or cajun are more switched on to this data.

Oh gosh, no idea who used the stiffest pole, but I am sure Lisek is on some tree trunks.

Mondo is on some telephone poles, esp. for his slight build!

Duplantis is 181 (78.9 kg) now so that puts him at 0.4346

Lisek was on a 5.10 10.6 for his 6.01m vault.

    Renaud was on a 5.10 15.2 for 5.81m......

    Mondo was on a 5.20 12.9 at 5.81-88 attempts.......

Here's a scary thought. What if Mondo steadily improves and PRs at age 33 like Hartwig?!
