Also a lot fewer people who will only be going to one stadium from a nearby location....

Also the WCup would have been in June to July when as noted the temperature would be around 115-120F....

I think Sondre might make him jump a little.

Mondo has fresh legs took some time off.

Not to derail the millionth Mondo moment, but - the air in the stadium has to move in a certain direction, does it by any chance move exactly 2.0 meters per second down the home stretch?

Mondo will receive a stipend of 100 000 SEK (roughly $10000) tonight from The Mikael Ljungberg Memorial Fund. Mikael Ljungberg was an Olympic wrestler(Gold Sydney 2000) that passed away 2004. It has been annually given to Swedish sportspersons since 2005.

”Armand Duplantis is an excellent example of the fact that you can be a superstar, without a superior attitude. Armand impresses us and inspires us – with equal parts self-confidence and modesty. This makes him a fantastic role model, an athlete entirely in the spirit of Mikael Ljungberg.”

Wasn't the most clean jumping from Mondo today, but a great result. Last attempt at 6.00 where he switched back to a softer pole was a decent one.
