I don't know what qualifying format will the CONCACAF have. There is nothing on their website yet.

The USA men ranks pretty high in the world (30th) and their brand of soccer is MUCH worse than the USA women's team. Obviously the women can't run as fast or shoot as hard, but they play a much more technical, intelligent, and 'beautiful' game than our men.

I would MUCH rather watch our women play than our men (playing right now in the Gold Cup tourney).

Now if you're talking about Brazil playing German in an important men's match, yeah, that's as good as it gets anywhere, anytime.

So do I. The same goes for the US hockey national team.

Well, maybe since Karch Kiraly retired, but when Kiraly was playing it was amazing to watch the GOAT

do you prefer watching the women because of their skills at beach volleyball or is there some other reason?

When I lived in Chapel Hill, I got to see Lilly, Hamm, Venturini and many other members of USWNT play up close multiple times a year. And it cost me almost nothing. (Regular season games were free with my ID and the post season cost $3-5 a game.) I got completely spoiled. I don't think I will ever get that kind of opportunity again.

Yeah, I saw Carolina play a few times - usually against Duke. They were incredible. That dominance under Anson Dorrance was almost unparalleled in college sports (Iowa wrestling maybe)
