Ha! I retired my mad football skilz in 1981 when I won our season-long 10-man office pool by averaging 10 wins out of 14 each week (NFL) in a straight-up who-wins contest. I'm pretty good at picking things outright (the Dutch pick-3 contest), but stink at 'confidence' contests (the other Dutch game).

No breaks about it: Blågult outplayed Die Nationalelf.

It looked that way to me too, which really surprised me. Germany lost composure in the second half and never got it back.

The ONLY explanation is that she's protecting an injury. There's no tactical advantage to be had here.

It would not surprise me if Rapinoe pulled herself.

I'm glad the penalty kick was stopped, but England was offside, should never have looked to determine if it was a penalty in the first place.
