After seeing how Sha'Carri Richardson handled Kayla White pretty easy at the East Quarterfinal Round I don't have see from a race technique wise how she will be able to win. I know some will say she had a bad start, but her start was no different than it was at the MEAC championships it was just that once Kayla got to top end she was not able to make any type of dent in the gap between her and Sha'Carri Richardson. With these two in the same semi final on Thursday if Richardson beats her again you can pretty much count Kayla White out of for winning.

IMO I think the race is going to be between Richardson and Teahna Daniels who both looked amazing in the 100 in their runs at regionals. If they come into this week looking the same way they did two weeks ago they are going to push each other to a low 10.9. I know some would say they are just good starters but if you saw both Daniels and Richardson's respective races two week ago they put together the race from start to finish with nothing lost in the last 40 meters.

Twanisha Terry can possibly execute a good race as well to win.

Not too sure about the implications of the Regionals races; they were qualifying events. White ran excellently in the championship race, the Regionals were not the Championship, and neither will the Semi. However, it is true that sprinters want to win much of the time, but far too much weight gets put on the winners when other close places are equal in results (hence why non-finals are not considered in winning streaks).

I agree with you but typically you can tell how much effort one is putting into a preliminary/qualifying round and IMO Kayla White tried very hard to close on Richardson in the quarterfinal which suggests she was in fact going for the win. The problem was that Richardson was not just a one trick pony and once Kayla shifted gears to close Richardson responded with another gear only to keep the same distance between them. I agree things can change between now and than but White will need to do something she has not done all year which is have a great start, whereas Teahna Daniels and Richardson showed last week that they have the start and FINISH at least at 100M.
