And who was the stadium announcer and his spotter for both of those NCAA Meets???

As DoubleRBar would say don't think of the hurdles when answering this.

Mainly because neither Bob Hersh nor I can hurdle worth a damn.

By a grand coincidence, I worked all three of those meets. The first one at Duke I worked HJ, the only time foul I ever called on a female HJer.

My data is 3 years old so it may not be 100% accurate, but Stanford is #2 in most varsity sports behind only Harvard. The only other Power 5 institutions in the top 25 are Ohio State, Cal, and Michigan.

Stanford has won the women's lightweight rowing championship. That might be NCAA championship # 7 for this year. Correction: I'm not sure this was a NCAA championship event.

Yes, Stanford Athletics puts the count at 6 NCAA championships, 7 overall. Women's lightweight rowing is administered by the Intercollegiate Rowing Association.

Sad, but true. I myself grovelled to get into Duke and had to settle for S.

Oh, wait, that can't be true. I'd never even heard of Duke, and no one from my school even wanted to go there!!!!!
