I found my file from 2009. The data are the state, its population, number of HS divisions for T&F, and millions of population per division. When I originally posted it, people complained about errors, so I can't vouch that everything is 100% correct.

05-17-2019 04:06 PMDon't know, I was just going off the state meet heat sheets. If I was at home I look it up in the back issues. Maybe someone else can?

05-17-2019 05:08 PMAnna Hall actually doing a lot of work this week. No field events but in addition to 100H and 300H, she's running the 4x200 and 4x400, heats and finals in all four events.

05-17-2019 06:07 PMAnna and her Valor Christian squad ran a spectacular 1:37.00 4x2 prelim ... I think that's the fastest outside of Texas this year.

05-17-2019 06:45 PMThat's a Colorado HS record.
Cruz Culpepper 1:52.93. Running form a bit reminiscent of his dad's, IIRC.Last edited by DrJay; 05-17-2019 at 06:58 PM.

05-17-2019 06:45 PMNope, St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida ran 1:36.71. But Valor Christian with Anna Hall on the anchor runs their state championship final 4x200 in about an hour.
Also there are two classifications for records set in Colorado, records set during the season and at the state meet and records set only at the state meet. Records set after the season is over are not classified as high school state records as per NFHS rules.
So Pat's record of 17' 7.5" inches is the record young Max is trying to exceed for state record purposes. Don't know if Max is ready to go 18 feet but here's hoping for the best.

05-17-2019 06:56 PMThe best example of why it's a bummer as a fan to have multiple classes came in 2015 when one guy broke the state all-class record winning the 4A 800 and minutes later another guy broke that record winning the 5A 800. Would have been great to see them head-to-head.

05-17-2019 07:11 PMSprout 5th place 1:55.85, 1st was 1:53.47.
Must say, a big meet in terms of number of races and warm bodies...they run it on schedule, every year.Last edited by DrJay; 05-17-2019 at 07:14 PM.
