    Alex Madlock, a soph at Baylor, 45-3 (13.79) slightly windy (2.2).

    Hit legal best last week at home 44-0.75 (1.7).

    HS best: 42-6.75

    I even googled the name and didn't get much - no wiki article, which is my threshold for fame/infamy.

    In 1954, James Segrest single-handedly won the Class B state track championship for Bangs High School -- winning the 100, 220 and 440 after finishing fourth in the long jump. On Wednesday, he will be among a distinguished group of athletes being inducted in the Texas Sports Hall of Fame
