Texas Relays Multi events started yesterday. Tyra Gittens had a first day Hep score of 3709. Quite a bit of Texas Relays coverage on the Longhorn Network if you happen to have it on your provider.

If I may be so bold, I'll start a sep thread on Florida, as it's right down the road and lots of interesting things usually happen.

6148 for Ashtin Zamzow in the Heptathlon. That would have been 2nd on last years USA list. It is also right on the hairy edge of what might qualify you for Doha.

There's the old joke for those that put the horns down...

Horns down is ASL for "I married my sister."

Matthew Boling 10.21/4.2w in HS Div. 11 qualifying. Second place in his heat was 10.77 and second best in Div. 11 was 10.47.

Final tomorrow. Unfortunately, meet protocol separates division competition, so Boling will not match up with Ryan Martin, who ran 10.26/3.6w in Div. 1 qualifying.

Preventing the best athletes from competing against each other is tiresome enough at state championship meets.
