    From the Executive Summary:

It is human biology, not legal status or gender identity, that ultimately determines which individuals possess the physical traits which give rise to that insuperable advantage and which do not.

Testosterone limit under the previous regulations was double the limit of the new regulations.

You sure she was on T-reducing drugs at the time? My recollection is that the regime was introduced a bit later, with Semenya a non-factor in 2013-14.

Info on 2019 World Championships eligibility from the IAAF Press Release this morning:
By 8 May 2019, Relevant Athletes seeking eligibility for the IAAF World Championships Doha 2019 must undergo a blood sampling to measure their serum testosterone level (using a mass spectrometry-based method as described in the Regulations). The testosterone concentration obtained from this blood sample must be below 5 nmol/L and remain under this value as long as the athlete is seeking eligibility to compete in the female classification in a Restricted Event at International Competition.
Unless they had started treatment to reduce testo levels a while ago, is it even possible for a Relevant Athlete to meet the requirement with 7 days of the CAS ruling? Or is 7 days enough time?

I can't see her being competitive with the best at 5,000. Lower her PR from 16:05 to 14:20ish?

This sure looks like a step in the right direction.

"Now she - and other athletes with differences of sexual development (DSD) - must either take medication in order to compete in track events from 400m to the mile, or change to another distance."

"Eighteen-time Grand Slam champion Martina Navratilova: "The verdict against Semenya is dreadfully unfair to her and wrong in principle. She has done nothing wrong and it is awful that she will now have to take drugs to be able to compete. General rules should not be made from exceptional cases and the question of transgender athletes remains unresolved."

    https://www.bbc.com/sport/athletics/48102479

I'm not sure why Semenya and Navratilova have a problem with taking these drugs, since Navratilova didn't say why. Are they unsafe? Navratilova makes it sound like the drugs are a punishment; whether or not that was her intention, it's false.

Why does Semenya not want to take them? If she was not gaining an advantage from her T levels, what's the issue? She won't slow down. If she does, maybe we can stop talking about "androgen insensitivity". Or maybe now that Semenya is XY this is moot.
