Petros Kyprianou, the head track & field coach at Georgia, told the Post he believes Boling's best event and strongest chance to qualify for Tokyo is the long jump.

The fun will be in FIGURING OUT what event will be his best: 100, 200, 400, LJ are all equally intriguing with this kid.

We know what you are trying to say, we get the veiled hint, I see that you mention the 100, 400 and LJ and what would those be?.. yes, they are 30% of the decathlon. And shortly someone will chime in and say that he already has a 6-6 HJ PR from when he was a 16 year old and that makes 40% of a decathlon. Now we went from 30% to 40% in less than two sentences and that tells me that you recognize that we have ourselves a fantastic NCAA champion in the decathlete here. Friends, I couldnt have said it better myself!

Didn’t he pole vault 13’? Obviously there would be a lot of work to do there. Then of course, there are those pesky throws....

Lots of people can do both the sprints and the LJ well. That doesn't come anywhere near what it takes to be a great decathlete.
