Maybe he feels that the sun does not rise and set in Austin.

Why the concern, if that's the right word, over the kid playing football? As I asked earlier, is there any indication he's played the sport in the past? He didn't as a senior but I didn't check beyond that and there's nothing else online indicating any football experience or prowess.

So I don't get why the multiple posts addressing playing football or football scholarships.

Maybe Mondo is going to show up at Coach Ogeron's office tomorrow morning.

    Exactly.

Almost as perplexing as constant references to what a kid could do in a decathlon, just because they are decent in a couple individual events.

Really where? I'm the only one who mentioned anything about him being a deca man. How is that perplexing or a reference to what he could do. Why is that bothersome to you if someone did? I don't see any other reference to him and what he would do as a decathlete. You think that's on par with him playing football? There are more references to football, in this track and field forum, than him being a decathlete.

Your comment is perplexing given these facts. Care to clarify?

Linked article has video interview with clips of the 100m/200m taken from different and somewhat better angle than the twitter clips in the dawgnation link above.

Video is 22+ minutes long; race clips start about 3 minutes in.

"healthy" conversation about what? A kid with no apparent ties to football playing collegiate football?
