I've been on these boards a long time. To the point where I can say I actually understood the Wariner 800 talk. But MB and the Deca?!! Let. It. Go.

You are right. This guy is a rare 100-LJ guy at his age. He is not a multi.

Here is my 5 cents' worth: I feel kinda sorry for the expectations on MB. It's a long trek from high school to international star! I do admit that it is intriguing that he has done so well as a novice in the 100. He should stick to the 100/200/LJ! BTW, I have been following T and F since Armin Hary and the 100 has always been the real marquis event continuosly since that time (1960). Other events come and go but only the 100 seems to be permanently high profile.

Here is hoping for a 1.9 tailwind.

Weather not looking good for state meet. Likely rain/lightning delays and winds from the north. More disappointed for Ft. Bend Marshall sprint relay. On nice day they would threaten HS record. Still hope to see them run under 40.

I have just finished checking the weather forecast for Austin for this weekend and you are correct. It is not looking good.

As far as Boling goes the 6A 100 meter is scheduled for 7:05 Saturday night. Might have all moved through by then. Of course a still wet track and windy might still not be ideal.

As discussed before, wet tracks are often faster than dry ones, and a wind of anything better than -0.5 is all they need to blaze.
