    This is significant, as this far Bowie has only run two 100s this season, an 11.3 and an 11.5. This may give us an indication of whether she is fit to defend her world title.

    There's no reason to think that the current suspension is the result of a retest of a 2015 sample. (I assume that if that were the case, they would have said so.) If it's the test of a recent sample, there's no reason to think it would nullify her 2015 results.

    An update on Bowie's 100m results:

    Madrid Aug 25th - 11.09 (+0.4)
    Roverto Aug 27th - 11.42 (-0.4)

    I mean, there's still a month to go till Doha...
