The conditions must have been pretty ideal.

That said, it's clear that Japan is getting ready for the 2020 Olympics and that these are all very talented jumpers. Shiroyama was the 2014 WJC bronze medalist and jumped 832w/5.0 earlier this year. Hashioka, who had a very good series, is this year's Asian champion (with 822) and last year's World Junior Champion.

I'm not entirely sold on their chances in Doha but no one, even Manyonga or Echevarria, has really been setting the event alight this year.
