Not a big surprise as she had a couple of warm ups in Auckland last month at 19 1/2 metres.

Chase Ealey's has an interesting story. She was a good thrower (hit 18.50m a couple of years ago, even if just once) then started struggling and throwing in the 17 mid range. Then she started spinning and threw even shorter and fouled at USAs. Then she started being coached by... Ryan Whiting, who is now a full time coach (don't know if he will still be competing). He is also coaching Brittany Smith (19m at her best, for the moment switching to the discus because of her surgeries, who just threw a 56m PR). With Ealey, Ewen and Saunders US has a trio of top shot putters. And also the inconsistent Dani Bunch-Hill can mix with them at her best... and there is also Michelle Carter, even if I don't know if she is still throwing actively.

Alexa Efraimson was listed for the 1500 at Sun Angel!
    But she was a DNS!
    Anyone know the reason?
    Thanks!

Indeed. In 2012 she was a quadruple winner at New Mexico's 4A HS championships. Shot, Javelin, 100m and 400m relay. Her HS shot PR is listed at 47'3"; IAAF lists her 100m PR from that year as 12.29.
