In 2015. But she also lost the nationals (to Hołub) last year before winning the European title. Her record in NCs isn't actually that great, with just two titles, in 2013 and 2016.

But Z really is the most prevalent consonant in Polish. In addition to appearing on its own, it's a part of 'cz', 'sz' and 'rz' (think Kszczot). As a competitive Scrabble player, I can attest it is generally not a letter you would be unhappy with having on your rack. Now, Ź is a very different matter.

I wouldn't have used the word 'competitive' if I was a kitchen-table player.

BTW, could you please move Ewa Swoboda back to the main list of qualifiers on the 'Road to Doha'? Believe it or not, there was even a story in the Polish media a few days ago, which referred to you lists and stated it was a scandal she's listed as DNS. It now seems likely she will be going to the WC.

Google Earthed the Chorzow stadium.. very impressive.. which raises the question: How are similar stadiums in Warsaw, Krakow, Chorzow and lesser cities only 120 to 150 miles apart sustainable?
