Powell, this is the third meet in a row Jaszczuk has jumped 8.00 meters or farther. Looks like he might be ready to break 8.20 soon.

If he gets a great one in the right conditions, it's certainly a possibility. He'll have another chance at the Szelest Memorial this Saturday in Warsaw (in a different stadium to the one where he jumped today).

Women's 4x400 looks ready to run fast. Nice mark for Stoj. Hope he can get mark for World's. Will men try and get a 4x400 qualifier?

At the ETC Omelko said they would attempt to. But I'm not sure they can even find a race to do it in within the next 1.5 weeks, and even if they do, I'm not convinced they're in the shape to do it. Granted, it was somewhat windy today, but they're still not looking great.

Apart from Lisek, the other major name to miss the NC was Adam Kszczot, who reportedly got a food poisoning.

The top 4 are looking really good. What worries me a bit is that the others were as far behind as they were. I expected at least Patrycja Wyciszkiewicz (who ran great at World Relays this year) would be somewhat closer.
