Yes, I was on vacation, but I came back in time to be present at today's 'Stars at the Fountains' street meet in Warsaw and it was definitely worth it.

Poland topped the medal table at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Baku with 5 golds. Arguably the most impressive performance came from Gabriela Andrukonis in wJT. From a previous PB of 50.23 she improved to 51.03 in round 5 of the final, then ended the competition with 58.77 (national U18 record) to take gold.

OTOH, the showing at the European U20 Champs was the weakest by a Polish team in a long time, with 1 gold, 3 silvers, 2 bronzes and a mere 9th place in the points table.

Has the Polish team for Bydgoszcz next week been announced? With Germany not sending the best team (and i assume Poland will), you might have a good chance of winning.
