NZ Champs – cold (55°F) and wet
    Friday – 8 March 2019

    21.70 Walsh, Tomas
    20.71 Gill, Jacko
    20.25 Bukowiecki, Konrad
    19.58 Birkenhead, Damien

Casino Car Park – warm (75°F) and dry
    Wednesday – 6 March 2019

    21.01 Walsh, Tomas
    20.58 Gill, Jacko
    20.20 Bukowiecki, Konrad
    18.43 Birkenhead, Damien

I guess Bukowiecki must have jumper straight onto a plane after European Indoors.
Jacko has another 17cms to reach 20.88 and secure his NZ High performance funding.

The shot put got quite a bit of coverage on live stream. Tom Walsh's seies was: 21.52, 21.30, 20.13, 20.19, 21.70, 21.63. Jacko's was: 20.70, 20.69, 20.71, NT, 20.66, and 20.52. Pretty good consistency (!) and enough to think he should get the 20.88 and more soon.
